First 90 Days Transition Programs

Transition workshops and coaching are proven to decrease transition failure rates and help leaders get up to speed much more rapidly, leading to faster realization of company goals and higher return on investment. To meet this need, our transitions programs were designed by Dr. Michael D. Watkins, the Chairman and Co-founder of Genesis Advisers. We build on the concept originally published in his seminal book – The First 90 Days – and incorporate into those same frameworks more than a decade of Genesis Advisers’ experience supporting transitions in the classroom and one-on-one coaching sessions.

  • The First 90 Days Online: Leader Edition with Coaching is a unique, online program that will ensure successful transitions by guiding employees who are new-to-role through the key elements of effective transition planning. The system is based on The First 90 Days Transition Roadmap® framework and can be part of any ‘onboarding’ or promotion support strategy. Genesis Advisers offers implementation of The First 90 Days Online with one-on-one coaching. The package includes setup of self enrollment access for The First 90 Days Online, one on one virtual coaching, and supporting resources for each leader in transition.
  • The First 90 Days Online Training Package is designed to train your internal HR business partners and coaches to use The First 90 Days Online: Leader Edition to support leaders as they transition. The package contains First 90 Days Online licenses, one day of training, and supporting tools and implementation resources.
  • The First 90 Days Workshops are designed to provide support and direction to leaders at all levels who are onboarding, being promoted, or moving laterally or geographically.  In both our 1-day and 2-day versions of the workshop, participants actively engage in creating their First 90 Days plans as they learn to make more strategic transitions in the future. In the two-day workshop, workshop participants build leadership competencies necessary for successful management.
  • The First 90 Days Workshop Train-the-Trainer is a 2- to 3-day training program designed to transfer knowledge and certify your experienced trainers or facilitators to run First 90 Days workshops internally within your own organization.
